

YUTAKA TOYOTA
Born in Tendo in Yamagata province in northern Japan.
In 1954 he graduated from the most prestigious college in Japan, Tokyo University of Arts (東京 藝術 大学 Geijutsu Tōkyō Daigaku).
Immigrated to Brazil in 1958 after working at the Institute of Industrial Research in Shizuoka.
First abstract paintings in the early 60's in Brazil was already with a lot cosmological concepts .
He wents to Argentina looking for the Space Theory of Lucio Fontana.
Toyota lived between 1960 and 61 returning to Brazil becouse the master Fontana was living in Italy.
After receiving the award in Ist Esso Salon of Young Artists - "IInd Award" (painting) in the Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro, in 1965 decides to go to Italy.
Approaches the European avant-garde and his two-dimensional work becomes three-dimensional.
1967, the Ist Prize of VII Premio Piazzetta was a major milestone for a series of exhibitions as the individual's Sincron Gallery in Brescia pipeline of important artists such as Bruno Munari, Vassarelì, Enrico Castellani, Lucio Fontana and others, lived for almost five years on Italy.

In 1978 is invited to create a public monument to the first lady of Japanese popular song Chiako Sato also born in Tendo in his hometown.
The bronze monument with 8.0 mx 1.50 mx 1.0 m has multiple symbolisms including its 7 waves symbolize the seven musical notes.
Thereafter makes numerous briefings with national and international artists, important individual and produces works with kinetic movement and strong influence of European op art as Latin Americans contemporary, Jesus Soto, Edgar Negret, Cruz Diez, Julio Le Parc.
Created over a hundred public and private works, in Japan about 45 monuments and public works, from the northern island of Hokkaido to the south in Shikoku.
In 1995 in Yokohama city creates and executes a bilateral monument commemorating the centenary of friendship, navigation and commerce between Brazil and Japan, a huge conceptual work the Rainbow Space polished steel and steel painted in gold of 10.00 x 4 60 x 1.30 meters in the park Minato Mirai and another in Brazil in São Paulo (still running) , conception as a gigantic bridge embracing the world unifying two continents creating intense cultural, political and economic between people and nations.
During the centenary of Japanese immigration to Brazil in 2008 created 14 memorials monuments in the states of São Paulo, Paraná and Minas Gerais.

The latest work in 2015 "Infinite Vibration Space" in stainless steel and blue paint in PU (3.60 X 4.00 m in diameter) kinetic with lighting to Porto Seguro Cia General Insurance in Sao Paulo. SP. Brazil.
2016 has a new studio in São Paulo for development and production of high standard monumental works .
Two new monumental and projects and creates a series of works between sculptures, panels and serigraphs for the luxury hospital Copa Star from Rede D'Or São Luiz in Copacabana -RJ. A panel 3.00m X 4.20m for the entrance hall, wood, stainless steel and color, Eternity Space 2016 and a monumental sculpture in stainless steel for facade of 8.60m in height, Infinite Space 2016.
For 2017 is developing another 3 monumental works for the new hospital of Rede D'Or São Luis of the city of São Caetano do Sul -SP that will be inaugurated this year.
Yutaka Toyota is continually creating a multitude of authorial projects and works from his studio in São Paulo to the world.
