It is the universal fascination that the sculpture of Brazilian Yutaka Toyota has, as demonstrated by its strong presence in public places as diverse as Japan, Italy and Brazil. It is curious how the subtle combination of materials, the concept underlying spiritual and technological production, does not exclude the public, but close. His is a sculpture of unexpected combinations. A chromed steel frame that multiplies the color. Or the articulated assembly of aluminum elements with the lightness of the flower. And metal sculptures of perfect geometry, moved and changed due to wind flow. The air and Yutaka Toyota create a new spell.

You can tell that the junction and the apparent contradiction between the hardness and soft, spontaneity and reflection, the volume and lightness, stable and unstable equilibrium geometry, are constant companions of Yutaka, part of the world that invented and is the origin of empathy the public. But, knowing the components of the potion does not solve the mystery. Knowing adds to the mystery of reality. We find the equivalence of the sculpture and the pleasure of contemplation is even greater.

High technology is inseparable from its delicate design. And we feel that this flight there is only packed in these materials and unusual contrasts.

Yutaka Toyota enriches our view essential in this game made of steel, aluminum, chromatic pigments hidden reflexes and wind movements. Aeolus, god of the winds, the son of Zeus, and Yutaka Toyota, and some sculpture as close to nature and the human gesture. A production of our time. Do not think it would be possible in antiquity. Flight of silver. Caress of the wind and glare of lights. Line cut and reconstruct the geometric space. Paradox, everything seems natural.
